Who I am

My name is Connor Larson, and I am a photographer, pilot, and aerospace engineer based in Boulder, Colorado. Growing up in Boulder, I developed a lifelong appreciation for the outdoors, which continues to shape my creative eye for landscapes and natural beauty.

I believe photography is about more than merely creating images. To me, it’s about preserving meaningful memories and capturing the moments that matter most. My goal is to create something authentic and personal, whether I’m capturing the quiet beauty of the outdoors, unique emotions and personality in portrait photography, the elegance of man-made engineering marvels—such as architecture, cars, and aircraft—or something more abstract. My work is deeply connected to the things I find most inspiring in life: nature, human connection, sports, and aviation.

My passion for aviation is reflected in both my professional and creative pursuits. From flying and studying aircraft systems to photographing airshows and aircraft in flight, I find that aviation exists at the intersection of precision, innovation, and artistic expression. This fascination naturally led me to pursue a B.S. in Aerospace Engineering Sciences from the University of Colorado Boulder, where my academic experiences have shaped my career aspirations. For these reasons, I have dedicated a section of this portfolio to showcasing my favorite photos and adventures in aviation and aerospace.

In my free time, I stay active to maintain my physical and mental well-being and to remain connected to the world around me. You might find me at the gym or exploring Colorado through hiking, skiing, dirt biking, or kayaking.
